ICSP Members from 6 countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Scotland, Switzerland) travelled to Strasbourg, using the chance to meet with Françoise Hetto-Gaasch and interested members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. The one hour meeting included a presentation of the ICSP and the results of recent research, followed by a discussion on the follow-up of Resolution 2079 (2015). The presentation of ICSP was held by the two Vice-Presidents, Dr. Chantal Clot-Grangeat (France) and Oliver Hunziker (Switzerland). Then, Jan Piet de Man (Belgium) presented the ICSP conference conclusions, Dr. Vittorio Vezzetti (Italy, represented by Chantal Clot-Grangeat) stressed the effects of parental loss on physical and biological health, Prof. Michel Grangeat (France) showed that equal shared parenting is beneficial for teenagers and toddlers, and Dr. Chantal Clot-Grangeat (France) demonstrated that parental conflict does not constitute a backing for residential arrangement. Finally, Yannis Paparigopoulos (Greece) claimed for an ambitious international convention guarantying children’s bounds with both parents.
